Strength & Stability Flow
45 minutes
Strengthening. Empowering. Flow.
A fresh approach to movement that redefines how you build strength combining the elements of yoga and Pilates classes.
This class blends bodyweight and dumb bell exercises with mindful, flowing movements, designed to build functional strength and mobility, empowering every moment of life.
In this class we will focus on breath work to engage the core and use optional cardio moves to fire it up for increased muscle mass and metabolism, or keep it slow and controlled to tone and sculpt.
Think fun, dynamic, new generation workout that will tone and strengthen the entire body and mind.
Yoga Flow
45 or 60 min
Vinyasa. Energising. Fluid.
This class combines a series of strong and powerful postures, targeting physical strength and flexibility throughout the entire body. This class will have a mixture of Vinyasa ('movement with breath') elements as well as meditation and pranayama. Each pose flows smoothly into the next, and the transitions are as important as the poses themselves. This fluid style can vary in intensity, from slow and gentle to fast-paced and vigorous, depending on the focus of the practice.
These classes have a clear focus on alignment and breath and they aim to increase physical and muscle awareness and leave you feeling energised and nourished.
Flow is a medium to high-intensity class. Expect to get your heart rate up in this uplifting class.

Slow Flow

Hatha. Lengthening. Mellow.
Slow flow yoga places emphasis on breath awareness (pranayama) and alignment, creating a meditative and calming experience. It’s ideal for both beginners, pre & post natal pregnancy, and more experienced yogis who want to refine their movements, focus on their breath, and cultivate mindfulness in their practice
While maintaining the flow characteristic of flow yoga, each transition is executed with deliberate control, holding poses for a bit longer than in a typical flow class. This approach helps build strength, improve balance, and enhance flexibility.

Yin Yoga

Relaxing. Stillness. Mindful.
Yin is a restorative class to unwind and de-stress. Yin Yoga is a practice that is designed to stretch the body and work into connective fascial tissue and is a balance to the more dynamic Yang practices. A powerfully therapeutic class, Yin is ideal for highly active people – runners, cyclists, regular yoga practitioners - and anyone wanting to release tightness in their body.
In a Yin class, floor poses are held for 3-5 minutes, each targeting joint and ligament stress and enabling muscles to soften. In holding poses for longer periods, Yin Yoga cultivates a sense of surrender. You will leave feeling lighter, more flexible, and more open in your body, mind and heart.

Mat Pilates

Focused. Precision. Breath.
A fusion of Joseph Pilates' original exercises and Salt & Wood teachers own interpretation, mat pilates classes involve a series of controlled, low-impact movements that target various muscle groups, particularly the abdominal muscles, lower back, hips, and thighs.
Mat Pilates emphasizes precision, concentration, and breath control, making it both a physical and mindful workout.
Mat Pilates uses body weight and sometimes small props like resistance bands, rings, balance pads or light hand weights to add variety and/or intensity.
Pilates is available for new and experienced pilates lovers and we highly encourage yogis to add pilates to your practice.
Sound

Comfortable. Healing. Relaxing.
Lay back, be cosy and comfortable and be guided into relaxation with a sound bath.
This is a meditative practice where members are immersed in sound waves produced by various instruments, such as crystals or Tibetan singing bowls, drums, or chimes. The vibrations from these sounds can help guide the body and mind into a deeply relaxed state, promoting healing and balance.
We suggest attending Yin if available beforehand for a entire body and mind experience or soley Sound is a lovely option too. Lie down and allow the sounds to "wash" over you...you might even hear the flow of the ocean or birds in our Zen garden.

Prenatal Yoga - 4 Week Series

FOUR WEEK PROGRAM SATURDAYS 10 - 10.45 AM
Join experienced Yoga and Pilates teacher Emma for a supportive and educational prenatal Pilates series designed to help you feel strong, confident, and empowered throughout pregnancy. Sessions will be practical including education on prenatal movement principals.
Each session will blend mindful functional Pilates with a sprinkle of Yoga. Whether you're in your first, second, or third trimester, you’re welcome to join — just be sure to have clearance from your healthcare provider.
Beyond movement, this is a chance to connect with other mamas and feel supported in a like-minded community.

Kids Yoga - 6 Week Series

SIX WEEK PROGRAMS
Join a lovely group of like-minded parents, with your children (aged 3-6 and all siblings welcome) for a weekly class incorporating yoga, breath and sound.
Enjoy a beautiful 45-minute class introducing children to yoga through books, playing with shapes in the body, listening to sound bowls and progressing into an asana flow which they can practice at home with the rest of the family.
This program is lead by Kat and uses clever and fun concepts to develop your little ones' breath and body awareness, provide them with mindfulness tools and also a beautiful opportunity for connection between child and parent.

Mums & Bubs Yoga - 6 Week Series

SIX WEEK PROGRAMS TUESDAYS
Reconnect with your body and bond with your baby through gentle yoga. This 6-week program of gentle classes, is tailored specifically for new mums and their babies, aged 6 weeks to walking.
