Phoebe | YOGA
Phoebe's yoga journey began while volunteering in the Philippines, where she taught yoga to amputees. She completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training and specialised in amputee yoga, prenatal yoga and yin. Three years ago Phoebe moved to the Bellarine with her husband and two young children and started teaching yoga. With a history of 20 years working as a healthcare professional in the field of Prosthetics and Orthotics, her classes combine a balance of strong flowing sequences with a focus on alignment and biomechanics. Carefully sequenced with music and always providing options for modifications be ready to move, flow and smile in Phoebes classes.
Kat | YOGA
Kat has been a Yogi enjoying practicing Ashtanga & Vinyasa yoga for over 20 years, in various studios and on retreats from Melbourne to London, Bali, Ibiza and the South of Spain. Kat likes to lead an Ashtanga inspired flow, keeping it simple and repetative with cues of breath to movement. Kat also leads a gentle and relaxing Yin inspired class which tends to finish with a sound bath for an added element of a welcome meditation or snooze.
Angus | YOGA
Originally from the Scottish Highlands, Angus now lives in Ocean Grove with his family. His global yoga journey has led him to become a full-time teacher, trainer, and mentor. Angus' gentle, compassionate approach challenges traditional narratives, offering a more person-centred style. His down-to-earth nature and humour create a welcoming atmosphere for all. With a strong understanding of anatomy, Angus' flow classes are thoughtfully designed for maximum physical benefits. His Yin classes prioritize simplicity and personal experience, emphasizing a 'say less' ethos.
Ben | YOGA
Ben has been dedicatedly practicing Yoga for more than eight years. Initially, he turned to Yoga as a method to cope with the stress of his corporate job. Over time, he has achieved a harmonious equilibrium between his demanding professional life and the tranquillity of Yoga. Ben holds his Yoga practice in high regard and wholeheartedly imparts his passion to his students in each class. He consistently brings his deep appreciation for breath and movement to all of his sessions.
Caz | YOGA
Caz is a yoga teacher and counsellor and is passionate about mental health. She has extensive experience working with diverse populations, including youth in detention, international students, and military personnel. Caz is neurodivergent and offers neurodiversity training for yoga teachers and organisations. She also runs a private counselling practice, supporting adults with ADHD/Autism and those navigating parental loss. She has one very spoilt retired racehorse named Lucky and will often be found with her husband and dog walking along Raff’s beach on the Ocean Grove spit.
Dave | FITNESS
Dave served in the Australian Army in Artillery, deploying overseas on operations in East Timor. A lifelong athlete, he enjoys various sports, particularly AFL football, basketball, and boxing. Dave has fought in three combat styles – boxing, Muay Thai, and MMA – allowing him to travel extensively within Australia and abroad. Since leaving the army 15 years ago, he's dedicated himself to personal training, establishing his own business called Strike and Strength. His training combines boxing or kickboxing with strength and conditioning. Married with two daughters, Dave enjoys the simple pleasures of life and strives for simplicity.
Emma | YOGA
Emma became a proud mama in 2022, and before that, she was a full-time yoga teacher with experience leading classes and retreats both in the UK, Australia, and around the globe. Her classes are all about finding that perfect balance between fun and function, helping you create strength and space in both body and mind. Since 2017, Emma has dived deep into yoga, completing trainings in Vinyasa and Yin, as well as Pilates certification, with a special focus on Pre and Postnatal movement.

Eve | SOUND
Eve, a busy wife, mum, and entrepreneur, found solace and strength in self-connection through holistic practices like yoga, breathwork, sound healing, cacao ceremonies, and somatic healing. With a decade of experience as an energy healer, Eve offers supportive and calming spaces for individuals to unwind and reconnect with their true selves. Her yoga classes emphasize conscious breath and movement, fostering a deeper connection to the heart. Eve's sound bath sessions provide an opportunity to relax and rejuvenate, guided by a short meditation and enveloped in the healing frequencies of various instruments, including crystal singing bowls, Koshi chimes, and more.
Jack | FITNESS
Jack is a dynamic movement coach with expertise in CrossFit, martial arts, and yoga, offering a fresh perspective on functional fitness. His classes are crafted to push boundaries, combining mindful movement with a focus on achieving balance, mobility, and strength that seamlessly integrate into everyday life. Whether you’re a seasoned athlete or just beginning your movement journey, Jack’s approach will help you discover new depths of physical awareness and unlock your full potential.
Jodie | YOGA
Jodie's yoga journey began after a transformative retreat in Thailand. Returning home, she quickly completed her 200-hour YTT and started teaching in Melbourne. With a passion for the philosophy and history of yoga, she's focused on deepening her understanding. Her vinyasa classes are slow, strong, and creatively sequenced, aiming to leave students feeling connected and peaceful. Beyond yoga, Jodie cherishes time with her family, loves traveling, surfing, and basking in the sun.
Keely | PILATES
Meet Keely, a lifelong Geelong resident, who now calls Mount Duneed home with her partner Chris and their golden retriever Albert. She's a passionate lover of coffee, animals, nature, movement, and family. Keely's Pilates journey began around 2020 when she discovered teachers she truly connected with. This new form of movement quickly became her favourite, thanks to its mind-body connection and the way it made her feel. Inspired, she decided to become a Pilates instructor to share this experience with others. Two years on, her love for anatomy and the human body fuels her teaching. Keely is excited to bring her energy and passion for Pilates to the Salt and Wood community.
Klara | PILATES
Klara is an extremely enthusiastic Pilates lover and mum. She is an APPI certified Pilates Instructor in both mat and reformer classes. She believes in nourishing our bodies with intentional movement to enrich the mind and body connection. The mat classes run by Klara are made to feel safe, fun and challenging for everyBODY, offering a personal experience to everyone that walks through the door. Klara can’t wait to meet you all and share her passion for Pilates with you !
Eliza | YOGA & PILATES
Eliza is a lover of movement and being able to facilitate movement for all people! From a young age Eliza danced in ballet and contemporary styles and then as an adult fell in love with yoga and Pilates. Eliza has completed her pilates training in injury prevention and pre and postnatal and then went on to study yoga training in Rishikesh India and in Ubud Bali. She loves teaching all styles of yoga and Pilates from the Ashtanga primary and intermediate series as well as Hatha, vinyasa, Yin and various styles of mat pilates.
Lucy | YOGA
Originally from North West England, Lucy now enjoys the slower pace of life in Ocean Grove with her husband Alex, and two little girls Amelie and Arlia. Lucy is a qualified Personal Trainer and recently completed her 250 hour yoga teacher training. With a passion for alignment and technique, Lucy's Signature Inner Strength classes will focus on strong and dynamic movement with integrated cardio for fitness and conditioning. Expect to challenge the body and mind with options to suit your personal goals. Leave feeling energised and empowered with a sense of calm.
Maddy | YOGA
Maddy started practicing yoga to reduce stress, ease tension in the body and to quiet a busy mind. She recently graduated from 250 hours yoga training and is excited to share the benefits of yoga with others and to help people slow down and find space in their day. Her classes are steady, mellow and mindful. Outside of teaching she loves surfing, camping, being in nature and keeping active.
Marta | YOGA
Marta is a Bellarine local and busy mum of two boys. She is a Vinyasa, Yin and Children’s Yoga teacher and loves sharing inclusive forms of yoga at studios and gyms, community centres, libraries and kindergartens. In her free time she enjoys beach walks, cooking and reading.
In Marta’s classes you will be guided safely and warmly to steadily expand your practice and explore new concepts. With her sunny energy and calm nature she loves teaching a yoga style that is gentle and empowering, positive and playful.
Mia | PILATES
Mia is a certified pilates instructor with a passion for exercise, health and wellness. In hopes to slow down and improve strength, Mia discovered Pilates and her love for it only grew, leading her to make the shift from client to instructor. Mia loves how movement and music re-energise the body, mind and soul, which is why her classes focus on a mind-body connection. Outside of Pilates, Mia studies Naturopathy, enjoys drinking matcha and going for walks and runs. Her classes feature a blend of styles that work on strength and balance, including the option to use weights, bands and balls.
Molly | YOGA
Molly Hyndman is a 200 hour trained yoga teacher with a passion for making yoga fun and accessible for every body, at every stage of life. A local Barwon Heads mum, Molly has practiced yoga for 15 years and has found a love and passion for her practice throughout the many changing seasons of her life. Molly is currently undergoing further training with Melbourne-based yoga teacher Amy Carmody to broaden her focus on the nervous system and anatomy knowledge.
Molly’s classes are fun, uplifting and filled with good vibes. She uses carefully curated playlists to immerse her students in her classes to ensure they have a reprieve from their everyday lives and a chance to switch off.
Murphy | STUDIO ASSISTANT
Murphy is a glorious border terrier who is wise beyond his 5 human years. An easy going fellow, he enjoys spending his days pottering around the garden taking in the scents and chasing his lizard friends. He lives in the house behind the studio, right on the dog beach but due to his dislike for dogs he prefers to spend his time with humans. Tummy tickles and digging holes are more his thing, and being a great listener he will happily join you in the garden room for a chat and a cup of tea. During class you'll find him meandering into the studio taking pride of place on the mat next to you. He doesn't like to miss out on anything!
